For clinicians
Notes your patient brought with them.
Trace is a private diary for adults with ADHD. Before an appointment, your patient can turn what they logged into a short report — on paper, as a PDF, or as a link you open in your browser.
What’s in a report
Your patient picks the dates and the sections. Every page says it was recorded by the patient and is shown as entered, without interpretation.
For a medication review
- Days they checked in, and each day’s rating as a strip of color
- Days they logged a dose
- The times they logged their medicine kicking in and wearing off
- Side effects they logged, with how often
- What showed up most on their good and hard days
- Notes they starred, and their questions for you
For an evaluation
- How long they’ve been waiting
- Everyday examples, grouped by area of life, with how often
- Examples from a parent, sibling or old friend, if they asked for them
- Brain dumps they starred, and their questions for you
Opening a shared link
- It opens a read-only page in any browser. You don’t need an account or the app.
- It stops working after 7, 14 or 30 days, or sooner if your patient stops it.
- Your patient can see how many times it’s been opened.
- The report is encrypted, and the key is in the link itself, so our server can’t read it.
What Trace isn’t
Trace isn’t a screening tool, and it doesn’t interpret anything. A report shows what your patient chose to log, in their own words.
